Hello,
My name is Pabitra Ojah.
Here in Australia, friends call me Pabi.
I came to Australia to work with one of the leading outdoor company. This gave me the opportunity to interact with endless number of people. My job required me to listen, understand and make them comfortable with every challenge they are opting for.
After being in the bush for a month realised that all my participant go through lot and it’s important to capture their moments. So I started taking photographs and my journey as a photographer began. Today many of my photographs been used for publicity purpose. Over the period of time I have got the opportunity to cover wedding, family portraits and various other events and now I am working as a professional photographer.
Friends often ask me how I manage to capture images and my answer is - My style, my technical skill and my eye through the camera. I suppose I know what to capture and make it happen and yes off course my gear.
To me a photo is about the meaning of the subject not just a picture. It’s important to me that I understand what someone wants a picture to say about their event or life. I take the time to make sure there is a mutual understanding of this with every one I work with.
My style involves simplicity, clarity, colour composition along with framing and timing ... something that I don't compromise with.
